Hi, I'm Emma
I’m a Physiotherapist with 20 years’ experience, and I specialise in helping older adults stay safe, mobile and independent at home. I graduated from the University of the West of England with a first-class honours degree and I’ve worked across East Dorset in both the NHS and the private sector.
What I love most about this work is seeing how the right support can rebuild confidence. That might mean getting back to the stairs, walking outdoors again, or simply moving around the house more easily.
Over the course of my career I’ve supported hundreds of older clients with a wide range of needs. I know the local services well, which helps me put together practical, personalised plans that fit your routines, priorities and goals, rather than a one-size-fits-all programme.
When it’s helpful, I’m very happy to involve family, friends or carers (always with your consent) so everyone feels confident about the plan and how to support you day to day.
I’m HCPC registered, a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, and I’m fully DBS checked.
If you’d like to talk through what’s going on and see whether home physiotherapy is right for you, I’d love to hear from you.
You can also follow me on Instagram and Facebook for updates and simple at-home tips.
